Like It Is

Ladymol's Review

Huh. Not like it is in any England I know. Who do they make these films for? I sometimes wonder if we (the English) don’t make films with half a mind always on presenting ourselves in the very worst light. We’re either Helena Bonham Carter in a bodice-ripper or we’re this total s***. This is a dreary movie about dreary people doing drugs and swearing and pretending they are all in Queer as Folk, whereas they’re actually in East Enders. It’s English films at their worst. It’s boring, badly acted, goes nowhere and is full of terrible stereotypes. There is gay action, but you could watch more erotic or sensual acts in the monkey cage at the zoo.

Take my advice and don’t bother with this.
