Take a good quality
vitamin and mineral supplement along with an
anti-oxidant (vitamins A, C & E preferably with
bioflavanoids and selenium or zinc).

Drink plenty of water and
avoid too much tea, coffee and alcohol.

Wear looser fitting
clothes and especially shoes than you would normally do.

Stretch and contract your
leg muscles especially on and off throughout the flight.

Take a tissue with tea
tree essential oil on it and sniff on and off throughout
the flight.

Take a personal sound
system with you so you can listen to your own music or
recorded book.

Put your watch forward to
the time at your destination as soon as you get on the
plane and keep checking the time as you fly.

Get up and move around the
cabin every couple of hours, or if that is difficult,
stand up and stretch your body.

If flying with children
take plenty for them to do and lots of snacks.
